Our brands, making a difference.

All brands in our portfolio give back a portion of their revenue to causes important to their employees and their community. Here are some of their initiatives and partners.

Our Initiatives

  • Foundation 43

    In 2021 Chubbies launched a charitable foundation to expand access to effective mental health care and suicide prevention services, with a particular focus on funding organizations that were built by and for the communities they serve.

  • One Tree Planted

    In 2021 Solo Stove set out to plant more trees than their products consume. Through a partnership with One Tree Planted they have planted 10,000+ trees across the globe with a goal to plant 1,000,000 trees in the next 5 years. Not only do the trees planted help offset carbon emissions, but they also protect biodiversity by safeguarding crucial habitats of species throughout the world.

  • The National Park Foundation

    In 2021 Solo Stove set out to plant more trees than our products consume. Through an arrangement with One Tree Planted they have promised to plant 10,000 trees across the globe based on our current donations, with the goal to plant 1,000,000 over the next five years from our partnership. Not only do the trees planted help offset carbon emissions, but they also protect biodiversity by protecting crucial habitats of species throughout the world.

  • Sleep in Heavenly Peace

    Sleep In Heavenly Peace is dedicated to ending childhood bedlessness, and brands each one of their beds using a Solo Stove Bonfire.

    In 2021 and in partnership with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, Solo Stove’s corporate team went to work, building beds for children in need. Their team ended up building 42 beds, thereby keeping 42 children from bedlessness.

  • SeaTrees

    ISLE’s donation partner, SeaTrees makes it easy for anyone who cares about the ocean (don’t we all) to directly support communities planting and protecting blue-carbon coastal ecosystems. The most effective way to suck carbon out of the atmosphere - period.

  • 1% for the Planet

    Since 2021, Oru Kayak has been a member of the 1% for the Planet movement to address some of the most urgent environmental issues of our time.

  • Ocean Conservancy

    Oru’s donation partner, Ocean Conservancy, works to protect the ocean from today’s greatest global challenges. Together with their community, they create science-based solutions for a healthy ocean and the wildlife and communities that depend on it.

  • American Rivers

    Oru has partnered with American Rivers to support their mission to protect wild rivers, restore damaged rivers and conserve clean water for people and nature.

  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

    While each of our brands are on their own DEI journeys, we at Solo Brands are committed to building a diverse workforce. Our 5 year objective is for our workforce to be fully representative of the US population. While we’re at the beginning of our journey here, again we ask that you hold us accountable in this mission.

  • National Forest Foundation

    For the past several years, Solo Stove has partnered with the National Forest Foundation to plant one tree for every dollar made at Solo Stove during Giving Tuesday. Protection of our national forests is critical to creating good experiences and maintaining a safe environment.

  • Outdoor Outreach

    Outdoor Outreach is a San Diego based nonprofit that utilizes the outdoors to inspire youth to see possibility and opportunity in their lives.

  • Project Good

    In March 2020, in response to the massive uncertainty faced by their community, Solo Stove launched Project Good. They invited their community to share stories with them of how they, a friend, or a loved one could benefit from one of their products as a gateway to a getaway from anxiety.

    The initiative has received over 850 nominations and thus far over 174 families have received a free Solo Stove to assist them and their families in times of need.
